It is sad that I’m not getting as much time to read as I
like, but with uni in full swing I’ve had to prioritise. With that it mind I’m
trying not to be disappointed that I haven’t managed to get through as many
books as I need to stay on target. I’m not exceptionally behind. I’m just not
quite where I’d like to be. With about 4 weeks of uni to go I don’t expect to
cover much ground. This weekend however I am having to myself.
Also, I have become more than a little obsessed with Kickstarter.
Particularly with a game called Zombicide. It is in the last few hours of
funding, and they have smashed their $20k target. At last check it was at
$646k. I’ve made my pledge at Abomination level, and can hardly wait for it to
arrive in September. Of course I won’t be able to play with it until uni is
finished sometime in October. Zombies, cake, and maybe a nice roast (depending
on the weather).
Miss R has gone off to an antique show with her mother so I am
going to spend the day with a book or two. Monday I am going to start on the
next assignment. I’ve got leave planed in the week and a half before it is due,
but I want to get a head start on it. Why did I think doing my masters was a
good idea?
