I am sadly behind in my posting this month, and the next is looking no better. By the end of October I will have finally completed my Masters. Before that, I have to finish my final assignment, and sit my first (and last) exam in my academic career. More study, but less reading.
On the up side I have only got 94 books to read in order to reach my target. Plus my faulty ereader was replaced with a newer model (after a not inconsiderable amount of drama, which I won't go into as I'm trying to keep my blood pressure at a reasonable level).
Books read in August:

Pratchett

Rope Burns - any good? Because I am mad keen on women who box.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Princess Bride, I loved that book.
I really look forward to a top 10 from you at some stage. I will quite seriously buy all of them and give them a go.
I enjoyed it. It's all short stories, so there wasn't a lot of boxing women, but still worth a read.
ReplyDeletePicking my top ten will be an interesting exercise. So many books to choose from. Probably should have been rating them from the beginning. Oh well.
